This is an official letter sent by the organizers of the above mentioned competition to the Philippine Climbing community the letter goes as follows:
We regret to inform you that the event, Beaulder: The Philippine National Bouldering Competition, due to be held on August 6-7, 2011, has been cancelled. It is unfortunate that in spite of assiduous efforts, we have not achieved optimal conditions for the event to push through.
We sincerely apologize to SCAPI, particularly to the Board, for any inconvenience the preparations for this event might have caused the Association. We also apologize to all the members, especially to those who have made travel and accommodation plans for the event. We will make arrangements for the disbursement of refunds in the next two weeks.
We thank everyone who has expressed genuine support. We remain fervently committed to the cause on which this whole endeavor is based; we only hope to someday realize our objectives.
We also hope for your kind consideration and understanding of this conclusion that we have come to, after having been faced with a number of challenges that are beyond our control. Again, to all provincial competitors who bought their tickets, please email me thru moondoggies7@yahoo.com your E-tickets for refunds.
