Sad News: Beaulder: The Philippine National Bouldering Competition Cancelled
This is an official letter sent by the organizers of the above mentioned competition to the Philippine Climbing community the letter goes as follows:
We regret to inform you that the event, Beaulder: The Philippine National Bouldering Competition, due to be held on August 6-7, 2011, has been cancelled. It is unfortunate that in spite of assiduous efforts, we have not achieved optimal conditions for the event to push through.

An ensaymada a day keeps the pump away!
So now we have a packed summer to decide how we enjoy it. Lined up for april we had the Atimonan Rock-trip and if you'd fancy going to the beach then you can head further down south to the bagasbas summer surf festival (Climbing is included). Weekend after this we had the Malaysia lead competition in their Putra Jaya climbing facitily. There's more to come. End of May we have two great competitions coming-up! The busiest climbing season i've ever known!
The number of events in this list just keeps growing and growing. I said earlier in the year it would be all outdoor but things change and here's what we have so far! So it's quite a long list right now! I hope you're all psyched to see the schedule. If you have an event please coordinate with us that we may inform you as soon as possible! Get psyched climbing is going better then ever!

There has been so many events in the past few weeks that i'd like to recap on them all but it'll be too long! So, ill give you a quick run down! Atimonan roctrip was a success. There were at least 40 climbers who attended the event. Happy Birthday to Kuya Mackie! Thank you for all the development you've done for Climbing in the last 10 years! You must try out Atimonan!
Your national climber Ina Flores shows Malaysia how it's done! After a couple of years away from the international competition scene! She battles her way into 2nd place against a younger field of women competitors with an average age of 21 years old.
