My ideal ways to raise a home.
1. Living a low tech life -technology eases life but it ruins relationships, ergo it should be kept low and be used for security purposes only.
2. More books and less boob tube – there are many advantages of being a wide reader; this will make a person imaginative, creative and open minded. Also books are far easier to control than tv-media in terms of content.
3. Music, Art and Sports – three things that are highly recommended in my ideal household, the things that makes a person holistic in all aspects of intelligence, and it will instil discipline Guidelines: a. kids must learn how to sing b. must know at least one instrument of choice c. should know how to appreciate art and must have at least one medium of choice d. must engage into one individual sport of choice e. must have at least one team sport of choice f. must know one martial art.
4. If you want something good, work for it – working hard for something gives more fulfilment than just getting something for free. If you want pizza, we’ll make pizza, we’ll chop some wood, we’ll knead some dough and well cook it in our own “pugon”.
5. The family that talks together, stays together – a family should learn how to communicate with God and with the family itself. Disciplinary actions should be done by talking, earning the respect of children. Laying heavy hands will be the last option but it should be explained why and not just getting into rage and fucking-up everyone.
